Mr. Fakhir Ali

Group CEO

Mr. Fakhir Ali

In February 2019, Mr. Ali was appointed as the Group CEO of Salahaddin Investment Company. He previously acted as project Manager at Hemin Group, one of the biggest infrastructure companies in the Region. An engineer in profession, with a bachelor from Mosul University, Mr. Ali had 20 years experience in different positions working across Iraq in difficult areas with huge success. He speaks and writes in Kurdish, Arabic and Persian and has a basic understanding of the Turkish language.

Mr. Sipan A.S. Sedeek

Head of Corporate Strategy & Business Development

Mr. Sipan A.S. Sedeek

Mr. Sedeek joined the Group in April 2019, bringing with him a diverse pool of experiences, from within Iraq and internationally. An Austrian citizen, with Iraqi Kurdish background, Mr. Sedeek studied Masters in International Management and Business Administration in Vienna/Austria and attended a 2 years course in Political Science. He previously attended the TGM in Vienna, an engineering school with a business focus. Mr. Sedeek gained valuable marketing experience at a renown Austrian Bank as well as managerial experience in the hospitality industry in Vienna. He came to Baghdad in 2004, working as a consultant in the newly established Ministry of Municipality and Public Works. He than did economic and academic consultancy work for the office of the Prime Minister of the KRG until 2005. End of 2005 Mr.Sedeek started working for the Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce and opened their Foreign Office in Erbil. He later started his own General Trade and Consultancy Company and imported and distributed different commodities in the Health, Beauty and food and beverage sector. Mr. Sedeek set up a Region-Wide Retail Chain and acquired an European Coffee-shop Franchise. Before starting with Salahaddin Group he consulted foreign companies interested to enter the Iraqi market. Mr. Sedeek speaks and writes in English, German, French and Kurdish and has basic knowledge of Arabic, Turkish, Persian and Korean in different levels.

Mr. Sabu Mathew

Supply Chain Director

Mr. Sabu Mathew

Mr. Mathew joined Salahaddin in May 2018 from DAC - Dohuk Agricultural Company, a leading poultry farm in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. At DAC he was only responsible for the Supply Chain but was the Project Director for the implementation. Prior to that, Mr. Mathew held various procurement positions working in Dubai in different companies for 15 years. Such were companies like IGGT Global - a supplier of oil & gas, marine and logistics products, or Fluor – one of the largest engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance companies, as well as Wade Adams – a general construction and project development company. His long lasting experience in the Region and his understanding of the culture and markets make him a valuable asset to the company. Mr. Mathew holds a MBA from Manipal University in India, a MA in English Literature from Kerala University in India and a post graduate Diploma in System Development from National Institute of Information Technology in India.

Mr. Ayman Mansour

Group HR Director

Mr. Ayman Mansour

Mr. Mansour joined Salahaddin in July 2016 from Exeed Industries, a leading manufacturer of building materials in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he was the head of the HR Department. Prior to that, Mr. Mansour led various HR departments in Dubai and Qatar such as JAG Group/Al Khaleej Sugar – owning the largest sugar refinery in the world. During his years in the Gulf he has established HR departments from the ground up and successfully implemented HR ERP systems. He had been sent to North America, Africa and Europe for the implementation of HR related system integration with foreign subsidiaries. Mr. Mansour holds a Master’s Degree from the American University of Beirut and a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He converses and writes in English, French and Arabic.

Mr. Ajith Kumar

Chief of Audit & Compliance

Mr. Ajith Kumar

Mr. Kumar joined SALAHADDIN in October 2018. Prior to this he was the Head of Internal Audit at TATA Coffee Limited, Bangalore/ India, working closely with the Audit Committee and the Senior Leadership Team. He was a Manager of SABMiller India (now AB InBev), Internal Audit Team for about 6 years with rich experience in internal audit, risk management, investigations and process reviews. Previously, he was a consultant with Ernst & Young - Risk Advisory practice handling internal audits and delivering consultancy services to blue chip companies. Mr. Ajith has handled assignments with large and medium Corporates active in Banking, Manufacturing and the Service sectors and has a wide experience in global audit & risk practices. He has been actively involved in various assignments in processes & functions of manufacturing companies. He is a Commerce graduate from Bangalore University and has completed his Chartered Accountancy, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also completed a certificate course on forensic accounting and fraud detection from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Mr. Lokanath Reddy

Mr. Lokanath Reddy

Mr. Reddy joined Salahaddin in October 2018 from Manuli Hydraulics India, an earth moving, construction and machine tool provider, where he was the Finance Controller. Prior to that, Mr. Reddy accumulated 13 years of experience in various finance positions in India such as ThyssenKrupp Elevators – a leading elevator manufacturer, PWC – audit, assurance, consulting and tax services firm and he spent a year and a half at Redco Construction – a construction general contractor in Qatar. Mr. Reddy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Sri Venkateswara University in India and is a certified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
